About
This is a commercial managed URL blacklist service. The bulk of the entries are downloaded from various free sites. The managed part of the service provides:
  • A blacklist considerably larger than most unmaintained blacklists
  • Human verified user submissions
  • A maintained 'remove' list which avoids common accidentally listed sites such as msn.com
  • A maintained 'add' list which ensures common 'bad' sites are always included
  • All you need for your squidGuard and DansGuardian blacklists
TRY FOR FREE: You can try the service by downloading the blacklist once for free.

News
December 30th 2016 - While on Christmas vacation, our DNS provider stopped our account without any emailed warning. This meant we could not host our site or recieve emails. The issue with the provider has been fixed and our site back online after extensive down time. We appologise for the inconvenience!
Not Just a 'Blacklist'
The blacklist is automatically generated usually daily and with each build increases in size from submissions and input from other sites. The quality of the list improves continuously with each feedback and provides the best online URL blacklist. The blacklist does not only contain sites that are considered 'bad' but it also contains many other categories that can be used as white or grey lists. Being listed does not infer that the site is 'bad' - these are just lists of sites.

Disclaimer: URLBlacklist.com does not provide a categorised list that is completely inclusive of all web sites in existence - that would be impossible. We provide no warranty or guarantee of the service. We can not be held responsible for the sites or URLs listed in the blacklist. The blacklist does contain sites which are wrongly categorised which is due to the bulk of the entries being collected using automatic scripts. However we will do our best to improve the 'remove' list via submissions so the incorrect categorisation will be minimised and the most common problem sites are unlikely to have a problem.
